I have a MY2002, and my keyless entry no longer works. It has the factory installed alarm system as well.
This summer, it began to increasingly act up. At first, it would take a few pushes of the button, then 5 minutes, and now it won't work at all.

After hours of searching, I tried:
- Replacing batteries. Both fobs. The LED does light up on both.
- Reprogramming both fobs to the car. The solenoid in the door does make a noise to tell me they are connected. However, they do not lock/unlock after that!
- Pulling the 15 amp fuse for keyless, as well as the two 3 amp fuses that go with the alarm system. Some people have had luck with this. I didn't.
- General checking of electrical connections, nothing obvious.

Please help. Any ideas?

Check your door switches to make sure they are working correctly, I don't think the keyless will lock the doors if it thinks one of them is open. Since it's tied into the alarm system, a bad hood or trunk sensor might cause the same problem.
