Default Replacement speakers

I am thinking of changing my headunit and the speakers in my 00 s2000. But I dont want to go for a amp. Can anyone reccomend a component set that will work weell with an aftermarket Alpine or Pioneer headunit?

I did the same thing except with a Kenwood HU and some upgraded speakers. I had a friend put'em in for me and i forgot the name of the speakers he put in.

PM s4play and ask about my setup. I was thinking of adding an amp but I'm already more than happy with my setup.

depending on your speakers, your head unit will never produce enough power to fully hear your speakers

I was running my MM6501 components off of a head unit, it sounded ok. I then powered it half way with 65w (they take 150) and it sounded tons better

I then upgraded the amp to 150w per channel and now they sound AMAZING. The bass and highs are so much more clear.
