Replacing backlight in Start Button

shoot i didnt even know that it did light up...shows how much i drive my car at night...or at all. lol.
Same here... anyone know if this is across all S2k's including ones from AUS?

anyone got the write up on how to take it apart? gonna try and get a red LED in there.. that should brighten things up

I don't know how to remove the button from your console, but once it's out, all you need is a flathead screwdriver to lightly twist the bulb out from the button housing.

Its cake once you get the button out. The location is designed for easy removal/installation.
