My start button no longer lights up. Can the bulb be replaced or do I need to order a new start button? Is it hard to replace?

 

Mine doesn't either, in fact.... it never has.

 

Is it supposed to light up?

the bulb can be replaced there is a DIY somewhere. Its a pain in the ass.

ap2's i believe are the only ones that light up... mine never has either I love ppl that try to start my car and don't know there is a button then I tell them to get out of the seat if you can't even start the car you can't drive it hahahaha

 

thanks for the posts guys, mine does not light up (MY02), I was just about to replace the bulb though as some of my dash lights are burned out and I thought I would do the start button while I'm at it. So I guess the AP1's don't have bulbs in the start button, good to know before I went and did it.

I had the DIY link to replace dashboard lights on my home laptop, I'll post it later tonight if you can't find it in the search.

 

Jeez, I have an 09, and I can't remember if the start button lights up! I guess I'll have to go home and check today!

 

I have a MY03 and my start button lights up when my lights are turned on.
