Well the thread started as a question specificly about the 8250... your opening thread was talking about all moden RF units (post Delco) being a bit crappy and being made my Hyundai..
Now if no one had picked you up on this not being true in the case of the 8250 then TR-S2K and any others who read this thread and your post would have left with this mis-information.

Not try to 'impress' anyone!after all this is only the internet and this a forum a use very rarely to boot, but i happen to be on here in the last few day and i happen to see a thread about a unit i did a look of research in to and ended up buying one and shipping it from the US... thats all, just wanted to put the record staight.

BTW what is 'Baby Got Back' ?

Well, it is MY FAULT. Because I am the one who started this thread asking for opinion about this particular Rockford Fosgate HU RFX8250 and I got you guys into yelling at each others. I am so sorry that, indirectly, I am upsetting some of you. I will try to be more careful next time in seeking opinions or helps

Again, thank you all for your wonderful opinions. I will re-read all your opinions, pros and cons, then I will make up my mind what I will do with this HU. Specially, I really appreciate all your helps that you gave me Phil, if you ever come to Southern California for a visit, please PM me, I will try to be a nice host to you and your family

P.S. It is amazing that I got helps from over the world. All the way from London UK to Ontario CA, from MA to PA, fom NY to LA within a day. You guys are great.

TR-S2K -- how do you have your sub hooked up to provide them with signal?

Here's a pioneer HU with a Burr Brown DAC:

Pioneer High end HU

It's worth a look, but IMO it's too much for an S2k. You'd be better off putting this in a dynomatted hard top daily driver, or in an Odyssey, preferably mine. "SQ" is sound quality, and this puppy has it.

It has a remote as well, and a very clean design.

A review

BTW: it ain't cheap.

BTW what is 'Baby Got Back' ?
It means it's time for another hp increasing mod.
Fire your girlfriend because she is eating too many twinkies.
A reduction of 10lbs equals roughly 1hp.
Another thing in regards to Sony being in the same category as Denon. I was just stating that I love sony decks, the look the sound. I realize that they are far from audiophilr but truly when I have chosen a deck in the past I make a decision based on basic options and the general look of the piece. I like simplicity and sophistication, and in my ripe old age of 28
P.S PJK3 I am finished borrowing your walker so I will return it monday!
I will have the RF 2000Ti in my hands tomorrow if my tracking information serves me correctly. A couple things I HATE about the RF is:
1) No IR remote
2) No cd changer controls
3) The possibility of being difficult to service due to it's rarity.
4) ALSO A QUESTION FOR PJK3 or NFR Does the fact that it has no dedicated subwoofer out mean that I can still use the rear channel as a sub output and the front channel for the components and use the fader to mute the base if I want to?
Ruined No hard feelings dude, just thoughts and a simple thread.

OK, first off, I'm sorry. I can be a dick. Most of the time I'm OK. Really.

X-ruckus, "Baby Got Back" is a song by Sir-Mix-A-Lot that, when it came out, was all you heard coming out of every kid's bass-heavy car. Ask anybody that was in the business at that time and they'll tell you how irritating it got to be.

all-trick'd-out, we're cool.

TR-S2K, sorry again and good luck with you audio quest.
