yes you can but you will need a active crossover OR a amp/amps that have crossover options built in. most do now .
OH you DID get your FREE installation kit and accessories ? you will need the bezel as the unit is quite small.
I think that I did get a freee something like that kind of thing. As for the x-over. I am quite positive that my deck has both HP/LP x-over's. I know that my Xtant does, as for the PG Ti500.4. I couldn't tell you. I can use the x-over that comes with the Perfect's can't I? That way I can use the low pass x-over of the amp and the high pass of the passive x-ver that come with the components.

My girlfriend is on here way to pick up our Black NT-R Racing Sparcos, and all our stereo gear. Next week the FULL 04 CONVERSION comes in.
Wait until I start installing. I already have NFR Dave in my pit crew, and PJK3 is my techie. My first HUGE install, it won't be done Dark Knight style but I promise it will look pretty and clean.

I am very happy that all misunderstanding are resolved. Today is much better than yesterday. Thank you all for expressing your opinions and giving your advices about this Rockford Fosgate RFX8250

After some serious thinking, I've ordered the RFX8250 last night for a total of $308 USD shipped. The main reasons I bought this HU are: simple but elegant faceplate, not too many functions that I will never used and specially, strong endorsement from Ruckus, our UK allied

Next step will be PM to Modifry, begging him for help in designing a special one DCI for RFX8250. Since I am very happy with my current system with stock HU, I can wait several months for this special DCI to install the new HU. The worst case is I will have no dash controls, but I will have a good HU that I like

Phil, Dave, Ruckus, Ruined, all-trick'd-out, darkknight and Willie Gee, thank you all for helping me. Specially, I would like to express my appreciation to Dave for starting the thread "Deals of the week" and Ruckus for posting this RF deal in that thread

When time come to install this HU, I may need your helps again, but please do not attack each other for his/her opinions

P.S. Can I use this RFX8250 in 2000 MB E430 ? Yes, I will not be able to use existing CD changer and the steering controls, but what are other problems ? I am thinking buying RFX8250Ti for my wife car, what do you think ? Any advice ?

I honestly dont know if it can be used in the 430.

Depends on the year though......if its 2000.5, then it is all fiber optic, and Ive never touched that. So honestly, I have no clue. It def. wont be a simply plug and play. To the best of my knowledge, you have to re-run every single audio wire in the car for it to work.
