Rockford Fosgate HU
wow.
i have absolutely no response to that.

of course -- people think i'm a bit of a weirdo b/c i have more money in my stereo gear than many people have in typical cars...
and they are right...

i'm glad we could introduce you to the passion of audio... just know one thing -- know the law of diminishing returns. accept it, embrace it, and let it slap you upside the head sometimes.

Hi Phil, Dave, Ruckus and Trick'd
I am sorry to tell you guys that I had very bad luck with Rockford Fosgate HU and/or with Sounddomain.com. They sent me a replacement about two weeks ago, The box had some evidents that it had been opened from the look of the different tapes that used to seal the box. I did not open the box, I took the un-opened box to my installer, he said that it did not look like brand new and he pointed to the tapes on top of the box, saying that these were the signs that it had been opened before, and they did not bother to use the same kind of tape to reseal the box. But we still opened the box to see if the HU was new or used/refurbished. Right away, we can tell that that particular HU was not new, scratches were all over the chassis and the faceplate. I had no choice but to return it and I am still waiting for refund from Sounddomain.
I will try looking for another HU, until now I do not know which one to get, but I hope that I will be able to get a good one sooner or later.
I hope I will have better luck next time.
