That I'm not sure of, but if the hand brake is on and the light isn't showing that could be why the roof isn't moving.

That's my guess as well. The car doesn't know the hand brake is set (no light on the dash). I'm also guessing the sensor (probably a switch) is under the console where this trouble seems to have started.

North American Wiring Diagrams. Others will be pretty close.
