nice amp as well the polk audio, i checked out their 4 channel amp as well, but that one too only pushes 75 watts rms.

check out the Alpine MRV-F545. It puts out 125RMS to the front, and at 14.4 it can be bridged for 500WRMS. It retails for $650, but you can get one from www.ikesound.com for $325.

Well looks like I found the amp I am going with. I spoke to the guy who I purchased the FOcal Utopias and Van Gogh from last year and enlightened me with his wisdom.

Tarantula 960.4
120 x 4 rms at 4 ohms
He said its just a rebadged Van Gogh, SS merged the two lines.

Only thing is the rear channel now bridged puts out 480 x 2, the van gogh put out 250 x 2.

Any one know if 960 watts is too much for the PSW810 ALphaonik 10.

I can either dial down the gains if I bridge the rear, or just use one single channel for the rear sub, and then what could I do with the other channel?? HMMM.

What u guys think.

thanks, have you looked into the helix line?

www.mobilesq.com/store

i will give you a better deal than what you see on there.

we are the only authorized internet dealer for Brax/Helix.

Ms Asdf, those brax amps are so sexy. Damm I wish I was rich.

I dont get the ratings on one of the amps, the B4 precision, it says 4 x 60/100

whats the 60/100, is it a variable output or something. let me know. I like that amp if it puts out 100 watts rms. PM with a price as well.

Also I dont recall, but do I look at the 12 volt output numbers or the 13.8 numbers.

Thanks once again.

The alpine a nice looking amp, but it only puts out 125 bridged to the front channel.

I need 100 watts rms to each front channel. 500 watts bridged is perfect for the rear.

Ummmm....it said on Alpine's website that it can put out 100WRMS x 4 @ 4-ohms with a 12V in.

Per channel into 4 ohms : 100W x 4
Check out Alpine's site - www.alpine-usa.com

Your right, the info on the earlier site was different then what is on Alpine' site.

But it only puts out 300 watts bridged to the rear at 12 volts.
Only at 14.4 volts does it put out 500 watts bridged to the rear.

FYI....RE: JVC KD-AVX1

I've heard bad reviews on that head unit. Friend of mine wokrs for Kicker in OK. They wouldn't consider using any JVC product for now. To bad, I was looking at the same unit a while back for another vehicle I own. Might want to check it out before buying....
