Now, I just have to complete this box I'm building for my sub. The amp should be here by the end of the week. Need to get the right design specs as to the dimensions. Need to use as much of the well as possible as the sub is a AW1206T (Audiobahn) and needs a butt-load of airspace.

The best way to get volume is to fiberglass the tool well. I think its something close to 1.5CF if its all glassed. You can also just raise it a little in the middle to get over 2.0 CF. There are some pics in the Installation pics thread stickied to the top of this forum.

That's something I've considered, but I haven't done any fiber-glass, and I'm trying to make the whole project a do it yourself thing. On top of that I've been quoted between $500 and $700 which is way more than I would like to spend!

Know anything about doing fiberglass?
