Just so you know.....we had Mark's speaker pods installed in June and they are AMAZING!!!!! They are the best thing we could have ever done to our S. There is no problem hearing the music anymore and they look awesome!!!! The craftmanship is top of the line and the install took about 45 minutes. No one will go wrong with these installed in their car.

We have Marks S-Pods and they are awesome. So far it is the only upgrade we have done to the stereo system in our S, but it was the best place to start. Clearly one of the best investments we have ever made. They sound do good and everything else is still stock. We highly recommend these rear speakers.

Ruckus - Yup, you got it. Mine are a little higher up. How did you get yours flush mounted?
We ran into a major roadblock when we looked behind the A-Pillar covers and found NO extra room for the depth of the tweeter. I'm interested to hear how you got around that.

Any help?

There was more room low down the piller. This was not the only reason i put them there, I tried them half way up the piller (blue tack ) but they were to bright and in my face (literary).
Oh i also cut a bit of the mount of the tweets away at the back.
Then i just epoxy'ed them in place..

I just heard of a dealer charging $500 for '04 rear speakers + $250 for installation! Has anyone else explored this yet?

I have about 30 sets in production. The wait for a set is no more than a week now, and will drop to no more than a day within the next couple of weeks.

I've quoted a couple of you a slightly higher price for Red & Blue recently, but have decided to let them go for the same price as Black...$240.
