Here is a bigger picture of the headrest speaker. it took me a minute, but this appears to be the BACK of the passenger seat, not the roll-hoop. The car seems to be facing the right side of the pic. (I hope the description helps.)

That's just me being surprised. Honda's adding more and more little amenities to what used to an incredibly minimalist car. On the other hand, I guess this is their mid-cycle restyle so we won't see an all-new S for at least a couple years

Thanks for the positive feedback. I'm gearing up production, and will have many more S-Pods ready to go soon. I am currently able to build 2-3 sets per week, but this is improving.

I can't wait to get my hands on an '04 to check out the tiny paper cone speaker Honda is using(just a guess). I'd bet MY04 owners will want S-Pods even more than other owners...they're just being teased with the possibility of a good system in this car!

The 2004 S2000 has optional head rest speakers. You might do some research on those.

make some of your s-pod covers that work without the speaker. i'm sure you'd get enough buyers. if it's easier, i'd also prefer the look of the back cover (flat) on the front too

Looks like I'm dropping the cash on the S-Pods.
I just can't get past the speaker in the rear panel blasting the back of the seat!
The look of the S-Pod is very clean, too.

I'm hoping someone at the Palomar Run on Oct. 19 will have rear panels and maybe even some S-Pods. I'd like to see and hear both setups before I spend the extra flow.

So, if you have one of these systems, get on out to the next SoCal meet scheduled for Palomar Mountain on 10/19 - a great run up and down the hill!

C-Ya there,
Hockey

Looks good, if you want to use a tweeter only!
I wonder how big that speaker really is?
Looks good, though.

Thanx Rue for the pic - did you score a brochure for the new S?
That looks like its from a full catalog for just our car. Maybe I have to swing by the "stealership" on the way home!

I did not score it. I found another members post. When I looked at the link I found a BIG version of the whole brochure for the aftermarket items. I just cut out the rear speakers as that was the only thing I cared about.
