Mark,

I've read a lot about your spods and am definately interested in buying some, but I have a few questions: 1) I cant really tell from the pictures, but does installing the pods damage any of the panels or interior?

Thanks for answering 1 & 2.

3.Each S-pod kit contains: 1 right rear leather covered backing plate, 1 left rear leather covered backing plate, 2 speaker mounting plates, 2 leather covered/perforated speaker grills, hardware, mounting instructions, and instructions for running your wires from the S-Pods to your HU.

Wires are typicaly supplied with speaker purchase.

Sorry, I should've posted this earlier with my last post, but just wondered if anyone had a list of 5.25" speakers that should be considered for this sort of thing. Something that sounds good, but not overly expensive--thanks!

No hurry Rick, these will be around for a while.

I personally have Crystal cpE50 components in my S-Pods, and cpE60's in the front. You should be able to find them for about $120 rear, $150 front on-line.

I chose these for power ratings similar to Alpine R's, but $100 per pair less cost. A few other owners have made the same choice, and are also happy.

Hopefully some other S-Pod owners will tell us what they chose & why.

Mark - what sub are you running? Any pics? I'm trying to figure out whether to go bazooka tube or 10" box over the tool set. Thx

I've got an Alpine R 10" in a custom box over the tool kit, and an Alpine mrv-f450 amp mounted vertically next to the spare. I'll post pics later this week, or next week when I get a new computer.
