I had one from a company I think is called ICE, but who knows. The problem is that it never really shut off and drained the battery. 4 battery's later I figured it out and threw the thing away. So be careful to find one that doesn't have that "feature"...hehe

They aren't hard to install, just get a good one. Also, controlling from the HU was a PITA and it was easier to just use the actual ipod.

Change the HU to an iPod-compatible type with integrated controls. I went Alpine but Pioneer and others offer good iPod-compatible HU's.

I'd definitely recommend an Alpine HU for iPod control/interfacing.

I would go with the aftermarket HU but I still wand the dash controls.

A vendor on this site - Modifry.com - makes a DCI interface to retain the dash controls for several brand HU's (also provides a no-splice install):

Both a wired and IR version - I'm making sure I choose a HU that's wired compatible with their DCI interface.

You can get an OEM HU compatible interface from Neo Car Audio or get an iSimple that will do what you are asking. It's officially "discontinued" But you can still get them at the Honda Parts counter, The HondaMusicLink for ipod. But at it's cost the Neo's a better deal.

All three have OEM style connectors and plug into the Car's "AUX" port

If you have an 04+ HU you'll need to Get a 2 Port Bus Harness (P/N 08A31-0F1-000) since the "AUX" is occupied.

You'll need the Bus Harness for any of the aforementioned iPod interfaces.
