So back to my original question. Will the eBay ones work??

Even tho my current remote doesn't have an FCC ID #??

Well, I pulled my remote apart to see if I could find an identifying part number and located the following:

OMRON
G8D-452H-A (same as the sticker on the back)



If you find the same part number inside yours, then it should be safe to assume the Aussie remotes are the same as the one in the US, regardless of what's on the sticker on the back. (sorry about the bad camera phone pic, it's all I have at the office)

You say yours does not have the panic button, but all the US units do so we already know the part # is going to be different. Have you tried the regional forums to see what other guys in your area might know?

FWIW, here in the U.S. my '06 S2K uses the same remote as my '00 CR-V; maybe the same is true for the Australian market S2K and CR-V?
