my stock audio cd player says COdE or something...
i believe it started not working after my garaged my car for like a month n it ran outa electricity. is this an anti-theft thing so it locks the cd player??

how can i fix this?? i dont think the manual says anything about it

 

Just thought I'd add a few things after doing my install:

The new 2008 Clarion decks require a run of wire directly to the battery. Also, the Clarion harness' Orange/White wire gets connected to the Orange wire of the adapter harness NOT the Orange/White wire. Otherwise, the deck won't dim at night.

If you're going to use a DCI and the "Cell phone mute" feature, make sure you remember to turn on the feature in the Deck's options.

Use a 1/4 inch quick disconnect and 3m t-tap connector for the SCV if you're using a Modifry DCI. Getting in there to solder or use butt connectors without tearing out the harness is nearly impossible.

Extend the remote turn-on wire so you don't have to tear things out and mess around with it later.

i'm trying to install a kenwood hu in my ap1. any links/diagrams out there that are helpful?

i ran across a scanned copy of crutchfield instructions on how to remove the oem hu somewhere on the site but can't seem to find it via search.

A lot of the links in the FAQ are now broken (lucidauto especially) which makes searching for how to remove ap1 interior panels a pain because everyone references the same link. Can someone update the faq so it is useful again?

 

i want to put a flip up video screen in mine, is this possible? maybe a specific model or something? it doesnt really say in the faq, i looked through it twice...

hey guys i didnt want to make another thread so im trying here if thats cool...my s came with an autopage alarm and for some reason it will unlock both doors, but when i arm it, only the drivers side door locks. someone told me it might be the actuator in the passenger door but if thats the case why does it unlock? if it is the actuator somehow is that a big deal to get to? id really appreciate any light someone could shed on this for me...thanks in advance

Anyways. I was curious if a amp/subwoofer could be hooked up to the stock HU.

I am quite content with the stock HU / speakers / and twitters in my 02. I just want to put in a 10 inch rockford sub my buddy gave to me and have a little more bass than the stock setup has.
