I'm getting some Diamond Audio S600s installed today. You guys have any experiance with these speakers? What do you think for $370 proffesionally installed in a 2000 S2000?

I have the M5 6" components installed in my 02 with about 100 watts powering each side. They sound very good ... one word of caution. I returned the aluminum dome tweeters that came with the set for Diamond's silk dome tweeters. The aluminum was very very bright for the cabin. I also set the cross-over on the tweeter side on the -2 db setting. This also helped out.

VTECnology,
$370 for the installation is a great price. here in houston, the shops want $600 + tax.

Jaysom,
who did you buy from? do you think i can get a set of m5's for $200 also?

i got a chance to listen to both the hex's and the m5's driven off the same amp against the infinity perfects. not even close. i loved the crystal clear sound of the diamond audio components.

Fish,
Do a search on Yahoo ... I think I remember a vendor selling M5's for about $220. I think it was either ampman.com or sounddomain.com not sure - look around you can get a good deal.

Where in Houston ... I use to live/work in the post oak area.

i'm from the southwest side of town. it's good that you moved ... there is so much construction right now that driving anywhere near the galleria is hell.
