I have had to correct the speed and fuel consumption in every car that I have used a SGII in. I don't know what the factor is, since I just fill up each time and correct (as needed) the gallons suggested when you hit the "FILLUP" button on the SGII. After a few tanks it is always right on the money and needs no further correct, unless something changes in my driving pattern. For the speed, I just use a GPS to check it and correct it as needed. Most cars are right at some speed and get off the faster you go (reading higher than actual). Since this is a curve you can't fully correct it, you have to just pick a speed to make right and adjust it to that. The other speeds will be closer to right than they were . Use something like a "yellow box" to fix the speedo error in a better way. The S has the closest to right speed of any car I have tried, for what that is worth.

Guys, just dropped in from accross the pond, where some of the UK guys are organising a Group Buy of these things.

I'll stick in a link to this thread but I'd really appreciate it if we could get some post up of where you have them installed. Such as on the mirror, on the plastic windscreen trim, radio door etc.

Anyone used an RJ45 network cable and balun rather than buying the extension cable?

I got my SGII off ebay for $125 shipped. I have a very nice cell phone holder that slots into the blades of the vents above the heater/ac controls. It holds the SGII perfectly. I got it from pep boys.

I still have noted calibrated the unit to the gas tank. I am on my first tnak with the the SGII.

A bit off topic, but what kind of engine loads are you guys seeing with the car just idling in neutral? I'm getting suspiciously high readings (high 30s to low 40s) and am not sure if it's normal, or if I am just misinterpreting the numbers.
