Default Set MB Quart PCE-216 Crossovers to -0!

I have been pretty happy with my MB Quart PCE-216 components in the doors, but recently decided to turn the tweeters up all the way (no attenuation at the crossover, -0 setting) just to see what would result and am amazed at how good they sound. I have older MB Quarts in my Integra and have to set the tweeters at -6 to keep the screeching from breaking the glass! The tweeter is much better in the PCE and the crossover point is much lower, so a significant amount of the vocals (even male) are coming from the tweeters. Anyway, the tonal balance is much much better than it was, and the highs are not overpowering. I am running a Clarion 745 head unit and a JL 300/4 amp with a JL Stealthbox.

If you have these speakers, give it a try, you might like it. I was very surprised at the results.

I do the same thing digitally in my head unit. Makes a huge difference!
