The other thing you could do is to get a deep cycle battery. It has more reserve time and can recover when drained multiple times vs. a standard battery.

I've got a Optima D34/78 in mine, not like I really need it, but it was a leftover.

I think a D51 is the right size for Honda's. But there are other manufacturers.
any pics of the fitment? i wanna see it someday. i had problem getting mine to fit with a tie down. So i went back to a group 51 yellow top.

I have yet to take any pics of my entire install.

But it fits, not with the tie down. I looked for a way to use the stock tie down. In my RSX I was actually able to adapt the stock tie down to work with this battery.

But anyway, after looking at the battery tray, I noticed two holes in the middle of each side of the tray and used a battery box strap that I had left over from another project. That sucker is tight, so its secure. The other thing I did was to insulate the a/c lines so the positive side post (which is used for the amp power), wouldn't ground out. I also gave the a/c line a little nudge to create more space.

None of the stock connections had to be cut either and reach just fine.

Again, I really don't need it, but I figured it was better than stock.

I'll get around to some pics, someday.

I just installed an old stereo (actually a Disco Robo ) in the garage. Got to make more sense than running the car stereo even if it is the most tragic thing I've ever seen.

Shoot man, that thing is a "rare collectors item"
Sell it for US$500 on ebay like this guy and buy a nice sound system!
