Simple, effective and cheap anti-theft device
Great idea, I like that. Another idea is we use to install relays on the starter wire and hooked up 85 or 86 to an existing device in the car, such as the turn signal or cruise control button. This way the thief have no clue what's going on and we wouldn't be able to crank the car.

Sure thing. A relay is essentially a magnetic switch, which is used in many applications. In this case, it serves as a starter kill. On the relay are contacts. A normal 12 volt relay will have 4 or 5 of them, 2 reserved for energizing the coils and rest for rerouting power or what not. In alarms, the starter kill utilizes a relay to interrupt the starter when the alarm goes off. You can use the same method when wiring up your own starter kill, but instead of wiring the relay to an alarm (which utilizes a negative ground output), you can hook up the output to another switch source. This way, if you send a signal to this relay, it will "switch" appropriately so that it'll allow voltage to flow through the starter wire. If you don't do so, the car won't start.
Well, the car won't start anyway without the key, since it uses a transponder system where the car must identify the "right" key in order to start. Fuel line cut offs and starter kills are just nice additional securities.

so basically if you have the cruise button in a certain position when this is done, the car will not start until the button is in the "correct" position? If this is true, when you used the button while driving, wouldnt it kill the engine?
No because the starter wire is only powered when pushing the start button. The ignition wire is powered when the key is in the on position, this is what tells the engine and accessories to continue running after being started.
