I'm just planning on having two front speakers. No rears or sub. I'd rather get everything done now so I'm fine with spending more on an amp if I need to. With that said would the PDX-F4 be the better option or should I be looking into another model/brand?

PDX-F4 it is. I think I'm going to decide on the Hybrid Audio Imagines. These seem to be a pretty good fit for what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help and recommendations.

I've got the Hybrid Audio Imagines in my car (coaxial setup) and I would highly recommend them. I'm powering them with an Alpine MRX-F65 and bridged the last two channels to power a JL 10w3v3. If you're not a basshead, just the Imagines without a subwoofer will be all you'll ever need.

Sweet! I'm glad to hear that. I picked up the PDX-F4 already for super cheap. I have considered getting an 8" sub but, I really don't want to make the trunk space even smaller. After looking at the specs of the MRX-F65 I'm wondering if that would've been a better choice than the PDX-F4....
