Speaker depth and fitment
I really want to buy some speakers for my S and was wondering about size and fitment.
I did some research and there was a post that said it's not 6 1/2 but a little smaller. Other posts' say that it is 6 1/2 but it's a shallow mounting depth.
idk i'm tired of searching and i just want to get it over with.
would this fit into my S without having to mess with anything else?

Also after entering my S2k's Make and model, the only speaker that it lists' that fit is...

PLEASE HELP ME !!!! I'm GOING INSANE!

While those will fit, I wouldn't recommend using them...
Like most of the well-marketed/hyped brands that overrate their products, those 240W max speakers are only capable of 40WRMS. So, a 6x increase of RMS power to the max power... Most quality speakers won't post a max, just a recommended power or RMS power. And NONE of them post a max that's more than 2x the RMS power rating (at least, not that I'm aware of).
Shop around, you can find speakers that are far better quality from a company that doesn't feel the need to overrate their product to sell it to you.
