Default Speaker fitment question

I tried to search and found a number of posts related to the CDT HD-62s so I'm assuming they do fit but my question is a matter of how easily. I had the door panels off the other day and took the stock speaker baskets out and found they wouldn't fit. Next step was to dremel them to take off the back and still no dice. Next up I ordered the lucid extra deep spacers without knowing if they would indeed work but they looked like a solution that should help. they will arrive sometime next week I hope.

After all that rambling... the question is, any pics of an install or details on what method was necessary to get em in? If it won't work with the lucid spacer then I'll probably just sell them on here or ebay them and go with something that might fit better. Thanks in advance for the help.

For those that are curious... The rest of the setup will be a JL 450/4 mounted on PAS2K's flat rack, a JL 10W6 mounted in the trunkwell box from darksidesubs.com and then the CDT HD-62s up front. Has been a fun project thus far as most of this is new to me (I did do a rudimentary install in my older Mustang but nothing of this scale or caliber of products) so I'm really looking forward to the final sound. Should be MUCH improved over what I was working with before.

I believe my brother (NO RIDE) has the CDT HD-62s and he made his own spacer out of 3/4" MDF. I don't know the details of the Lucid spacers, but I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thanks for the response guys. I will assume the lucid spacers will work just fine. I was all set to fabricate my own but decided I'd just shell out the extra few bucks to get a simple spacer from lucid and not risk F-ing up the whole thing based on my poor woodworking skills.
