I have borrowed some 5.25 inch kappa perfects and installed them in the car, i halready have aftermarket baskets with the stock ring on top. Now since these speakers have a tweeter built in , and include a box that takes the regular door speakers two wires and splits it into woofer and tweeter. I am using stock headunit. should i use both the new tweeters and the factory ones, should i simply unplug the factory tweeters, or should i run the aftermarket tweeter off the wires from the stock ones. Total noob here.

Don't unplug the factory tweeters. You'll get the best imaging from them since they're higher, and high end is very directional. It's up to you if you want to run the Kappa tweeters, but they can't hurt the sound if you leave them hooked up. Just be sure to use the crossover. (the little box) If the tweeters are detachable from the speaker, you could mount them in the stock tweeter locations for the best sound.
