i originally had a JL 10W6 in the trunk and it just sounded like shit with all the rattling. so im looking for a shallow sub setup in cabin and was curious about what enclosure you have? i imagine you have to sacrifice a lot of leg room to get enough airspace for a sealed setup.

I custom built mine using fiberglass, and used an old passenger side carpet that I removed the foam wedge from in order to gain a couple of inches. It does scrunch the legroom a little bit, but my 6'0 girlfriend says it just "lets things breathe better"
Those of you using the Polks - is it a significant improvement over the stock speakers? I am running a Alpine HU with an Alpine KTP 445U underdash amp bridged with the stock speakers and its got plenty of power and sound is decent but not great. . I don't want to start chasing sound perfection in this car - I could easily get sucked into that. Prolly won't do a sub. But if better door speakers would make a noticeable difference I might do that.
