i got my speakers to work, but now im having problems with the tweeters...they're making a lot of static sound when the volume is on low. Any idea whats causing the loud static hissing sound?

I left my tweeter wire long about 10-15 feet? Could that be causing it? Should trim the tweeter wire down to 3-4feet?

I was able to minimize the static noise from the tweeters by turning the gain all the way down. I'm not sure if its normal for the tweeter to be making so much noise. =(

did you move the rca to the opposite side of the power wire?
fuse wire have to be closest to battery in order to work
and that box and sub, as long as the depth of the sub isnt longer then the box then you should be good.
if you get alot of static noise then go the a audio shop and buy a ground isolator or something that plugs up to your rca's and it kill ground noise, i forgot whats it called

also if your going to buy stuff, dont go to crunchfield, go to http://www.sonicelectronix.com/
there prices are almost as cheap as ebay but you get warranty and great shipping time.

wow, thanks for the respond. Yes, I have power wire and turn on wire on the driver side and RCA, front left and right speaker wire running down on the passenger side.

I'm using Walmart 18 gauge speaker wire...should I upgrade to some better ones? I do have Blue Klear Kable OFC 12 gauge speaker wire...should I use that?

I'll look into that grounding isolator.

I bought this ground noise isolator

hope this fix my tweeter noise problem. Also, I notice I could lower my crossover dB it was set at 0dB when I changed it to 6dB (8dB is max) I heard less noise from my tweeter.

it might help if you buy really good quality rca wires because they have more insulation

i located the problem. turns out the deck was bad. only SW RCA works and Front and Rear is damaged or doesn't seem to be working. I tested my friends Alpine and his SW and Front RCA works. Also, noise from tweeters were completely eliminated.
