The Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 magnet is too big to drop into stock speaker basket, and stock speaker basket is designed to protect speaker from water dripping down from window.
Get a pair XTC speaker baffle (6.5" short) from Crutchfield, cut bottom 1/3 for wiring and for air circulation, will perform as water protection and preventing air leak between the ring and door frame
1. Cut the back of the stock speaker baskets, keep the rings
2. Re-install the rings, with XTC baffles between the rings and door frame.
3. Speaker wires from HU or Amp are connected to crossovers. Outputs of crossovers are connected to tweeters and woofers.
4. Install woofer to the ring.

I have no baffles on my speakers, and have no issues with them.
I just cut off the stock basket, and left the ring. But you can get the baffles if you wish.
Crossovers is subjective....but again, water drip issue. I mounted mine in the trunk.

Whenever I wash my car, I saw some water on the door sills, it must be dripping down through the doors. Also, the stock speaker baskets are designed to protect speakers from water dripping down from windows that why the top half is solid and the bottom half is vented. Since the XTC speaker baffers are cheap, about $7 + shipping, using it as insurance to protect $200+ speakers is not a bad idea.
I had my crossovers installed in the door, replacing the empty side airbag baskets in the lower conner opposite with woofers. That locations has plastic water protection built in so that they will be dry all the time.
