Default Stereo advice

A few months back I was using the CD player in my 2003 S2000 and as I was ejecting the CD and puling it out the Stereo went into lock down and the red light continues to flash. I have no display but there is power to it. What can I do?

Does the FM radio work, or does it do nothing at all? If it does nothing, you may want to check your accessory/radio fuse and also the cig light fuse.

You have to type in your code that should be in your original owners manual.

The radio will indicate that you need to enter the code by displaying "CodE" at which point you need to enter your radio security code. If you don't have it, you can get it from a Honda dealer by giving him the model year and the radio serial number. This happens whenever power is completely removed from the radio (e.g., remove battery or fuse). If it powers up, doesn't work, and doesn't display "CodE" then it sounds like a radio/electronic problem.

When I bought the car it did not come with the code. I took it to a Honda shop and they tried to bring up any display at all, including CodE and they could not. I did check the fuses to see if any were blown and they had not. Unless the dealer can get the info from the SN I guess my next step is to take it to a car radio shop and have them look at it.
