Stereo Cover Door Wont Close with Alpine Head Unit MDA7755
Hey All,
I have had my S2000 for over a year now and when I first got it I got an Alpine MDA7755 head unit. The installer used a mounting rim which caused the faceplate to stick out too far which meant that the black panel door could no longer close. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem in there modifications and how they may have gotten past it. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
Bob

Check all four screws on the mounting bracket for the head unit. They need to be all they way in. If that checks out ok, move the brackets forward on the head unit. You may have to drill new holes, but the cases for most head units is the cheapo metal. Just custom the case and move the bracket forward.
