Default Stereo Problem

For the past couple of years I have been using an aftermarket JVC stereo in my S2000. A couple of days ago it stopped working. I checked the radio fuse under the dash and it looked fine. I decided to drop the original stereo back in, but it didn't work either, except for the CD eject button, which works even when the keys are removed from the dash. It didn't ask me for the security code....nothing. I tried switching the 15A radio fuse just in case, but I still don't have any power to the stereo. I'm out of ideas.....does anyone have any suggestions?

if your cd is still ejecting you still have your constant 12+ power there.. you have to check that you are getting 'acc 12+' which is need to turn on your unit when you turn the key to 'acc'
use a multimeter to test this and double check your wiring...

Thanks PJK3! You were 100% right...it was indeed the 10 A Accessory Socket fuse in position #5 of the interior fuse box.

CA_Brit -- glad to hear it.

ya got me, mas... for a good year or so, i haven't seen a single accessory fuse thread, and here we have 2 in a week or so.

if we'd have seen more in the past year, i would have recognized the first thread faster....
