I have been reading several posts on here regarding the Spod's for MY06 models, speaker upgrades, etc...I just ordered the ipod kit from Honda, and I wanted to upgrade the sound quality without changing the HU (not too sure if the Honda ipod kit will work on aftermarket HU). Anyway if anyoneon here can shed some light on the most practicle, easiest and inexpensive way if possible...thanx!!!

 

If you want to upgrade the sound quality, I think a new ~$300 HU that connects to an iPod is the most practical and easiest thing to do. Although, to keep the dash controls, that's another $100.

Alpine HU with built-in iPod control (9856) and a Modifry DCI are what I'd recommend. I'd return the Honda iPod kit and spend the money on better hardware if I were you.
