Default Stock Alarm... Adding a siren

How would I know if I have an alarm or just a keyless entry? I dont think i have a red flashing light, so I am leaning towards just keyless entry.

Either way, I would kind of like some way of adding an alarm. Maybe I will have to end up going with an aftermarket unit.

lock the car , aka arm it , keep a window down or something so you can reach in the car... wait about 20 seconds , then from the inside of the car manually unlock the door and open it , no horn beep = no alarm... then if you do have a beep do the same thing , and then pop your hood to see if you have the optional hood trigger... :-O
