Default Stock like headunit (looks wise)

Anyone know of any good aftermarket headunits which dont look too flashy or atleast match other interior lights in the car? Looking for better sound quality still have stock speakers not looking too add sub/amps etc etc.

Try looking into blaupunkt. A lot of their radios look almost factory-ish, especially their older ones.

Best stock looking deck you can get, might be overkill with what you need. Also very pricey, but best SQ.

Nakamichi is definitely "old school" in appearance

nakamichi, high end pioneer, denon and alpine f#1 are amongst the best looking and feel wise.

coming from an ex-drz9255 owner, buttons and knob feel somewhat cheezy.

here is a RF deck that denon made for rockford fosgate. the model was called platinum 2000 rfx-8250/rfx-8250ti. it was never actually released, but the original retail was around $1200. sounddomain was clearing these out over 2 years ago for super cheap. i was lucky enough to pick one up myself. i still own 1 and have been holding on to it for a while. occasionally they pop up on ebay for around $400. sq is really close to my CDA-7990.

i wouldnt reccommend nakamichi at all. there are lots of problems with them, especially with the cd transport.
