Does anyone know much about the compact amplified subwoofers?
I am looking at the Kenwood SW-1 and Infinity Bass Link. The Kenwood looks like it can be mounted behind the seats or in the trunk and has an easier hookup. I want to preserve the stock look.
Question about baffling. On subwoofers mounted in the trunk, does it matter if the trunkliner that covers the spare and the gas tank lines is sealed or not?
On many of the install pictures I have seen amps are often mounted over the space, does this interfere with the bass wave?
Thanks,
Chris

I don't know anything about those units. I don't have my trunck sealed off from the cabin. I would expect some blockage of sound waves from amps mounted in that area, the people with amps there usually are running more power so it is not a problem.
