So I have almost 2000 miles and my S2000 is only 7 weeks old...and my passenger side speaker has blown. Do you think this is something that the warranty will cover? That can't be considered "wear and tear" can it???

 

I don't know, the dealer will probably just blame you for it.

 

YES....You have a 3year/36,000 bumper to bumper warranty.......go get it fixed.

 

Had the same problem with mine. I blew the passanger side door speaker. The dealership laughed at me but they did order a new one. I think it was already blown from the factory. They quit laughing when I told them that they left the spacers in the springs and I could go have a small loss of control and own the dealership Go and tell them and make sure you do not tell them you looked at it or took the door off, etc and they will replace it.

 

instead of getting replacement speakers (god knows what Honda charges for those crappy things), ask for compensation (what they would have charged American Honda for the parts + Labor) and get a set of nicer aftermarket ones.

$69 bucks plus labor. I wish I could charge that much for crap and get away with it.
