Sub in Trunk
I do not like the heavy booming bass sound or rattles
and am wondering if a sub can just add some sound
on the bass side without being too heavy ??
Can somebody educate me on Subs?

well if you just want some sound on the bass side and no booming stuff then i would go get lucids rear panels and an amp somewhere like under the seat or something
the only reason for a sub or my only reason I got one is for the booming bass and to feel my tunes not just hear em

I think you would be surprised what a little bass will do for your listening pleasure.
I know lots of people are satisfied wiht Lucid's rear speaker kit - and it may be just the ticket for you if you are not looking to feel the bass.
You can always do it in steps - get Lucid's rear kit (with rear speaker wire harness), and one of his front speaker kits. If you need more you can always add an amp, new head unit and then a sub
