Oth, thanks for that link! Earlier links to his install were incorrect. he must have changed the location.
I'm not so keen on giving up my glove box or secret compartment. Otherwise that'd be a no-brainer possibility.
I'll do a search for buzz before posting a new thread to ask, but my big objection to a trunk sub is fighting rattles or buzz. The loss of efficiency can be overcome with more power but buzz would be a deal-killer.

Here is mine from a few years back located under the steering column. There may be links in my original post to other installs. Note that this was on a MY2000 and I don't know how much has changed under there in newer models.
