Default Suggestions for an Amp

I'd like to keep the stock head unit. I want to add the Lucid speakers in the back and swap out the stock front speakers for better ones. I won't be installing an amo.

I'd like something small, maybe that could fit under a seat without shims.

You should look into the Blaupunkt PA4100. I don't think that four channel amps get much smaller than that. I recently installed two PA2100 (one in the spare tire, one in the extra space in the tool box), and I'm digging them so far. Oh, and they come with a line-level converter (for use w/ your stock HU).

BTW, what's an amo? I thought that you might have meant amp, but you said that you WON'T be installing an amo.

Oops. I meant Sub, don't know why it says 'amo'.

Is your spare tire still there and accessible?

Oh yes. The spare is there and accessible. I could've fit two of those amps in there. Although, the PA2100 (and PA275) is smaller than the PA4100. But one PA4100 would definitely fit inside the spare.

Anyone find dealers that sell the PA4100? I'm looking for it too.

Partsexpress.com was the only authorized dealer that I found online carrying the PA4100. Otherwise, there were a few others selling them for less. Just type "PA4100" into the search engine of your choice.
