Default system q's

so as i was starting to formulate a way to set up my system , a thought came to mind... i am goin to get the hard top for my s2000 and i was wondering if a 500 - 600 watts for my woofer is too much... i will have the dynomat in the door jams and this that to reduce rattles... but will the hard top be on there securely ... or will it rattle... this is a major concern for me becuz i was planning on runnin 1000 watts .... 400 to speakers and the rest to my 12 inch jl super woofer i think thats what it was called... please help thank you

With the Hardtop on that is way to much, unless you ride around with earplugs. My Stealthbox is to much when the ht is on. I have no problem with rattles and I did not use any sound proofing, but the rear tray has been removed.

600 watts to a subwoofer in the S2K is overkill in my opinion. I'm running 250 watts to a stealthbox and it's plenty. (And I don't have a hardtop.)

I can't comment on the hardtop since I don't have one, but the only rattle I had was from the glovebox door and the remedy was a simple adjustment to the closure bracket.

Yeah, I think 300 would be plenty.

No rattles with the hardtop. I have a Rockford 250 powering the sub and it seems to be just right, maybe even a little to much.
