Taking out roll hoops and speakers for roll bar
I have a 06 which has two speakers in each of the roll hoops, I can barely call them speakers because they suck so much. Anyway I am removing my hoops to install a roll bar. With the hoops and the speakers gone I want to install one left and right speaker in that approximate location. So currently there are wires going to (I assume) a left and right for the passenger, and a left and right for the driver’s side. So my question is can I connect say a 5” speaker to the right passenger and one 5” speaker to left on driver’s side and still have everything(balance and fade) work as normal? Or should I use a right and left from one set of roll hoops and just not use the other set at all?
Lastly, this is an easy one I hope, can I use whatever set of wires I do not use as signal wires for a truck mounted sub?

I think the stereo image would be pretty bad if you had a L speaker right behind your head and an R speaker behind the passenger head. I disconnected those speakers when I upgraded my head unit and door speakers, and I don't miss them for a second.

To answer the original question I'm not sure how they're wired up exactly. I think when I installed a headunit the plug and play harness had them as rear speakers, but they sounded so terrible I just faded them to zero. Now they're gone..
