Is there a DIY headunit install guide for the AP2?

I'm going replace the factory unit on my 2007 with either a JVC, Alpine, or Kenwood unit, and I'm going to use Modifry's DCI and harness. But I have a question.

The picture of the factory unit shows two plugs - a blue one and a white one. Do they both plug into Modifry's harness? Or is only one of them used with the new unit?

There's only one plug that connects to the harness. The other plug is probably for the CD changer.

There's a photo of the DCI, PnP harness (for Alpines) and an Alpine HU on Modifry's site (a lot of other info there as well):

I have the same question...

I unplug the original 14-pin from back of the HU, then plug in the new 14-pin from my Spec USA, so I just leave the original 14-pin hanging there?

Have you read the instructions?

Thanks for the reply.

Mine does not have "Y" cable (CAH-H2Y CABLE) shown on page 12.. which means the factory 14-pin male will have nowhere to plug into....

if i leave the factory 14-pin male connector unplugged, will i have any problem???
