Is there a DIY headunit install guide for the AP2?

i just did this a few days ago. Lift up the parking brake, make sure all the clips are removed fron the center panel, unhook the wires from the top switch the rear defrost and the emergency flasher, then swivel the panel a bit (front towards the drivers side) and it will clear the parking brake.

When taking out the radio door, must you remove the center console as described here?

Excellent write up! I relied heavily on it while installing my CDA-9886 and running the iPod cable to the secret compartment.

Getting that center rear panel (steps 14-16) reinstalled was a real pain! I ended up disconnecting that rear tray to give it enough clearance to seat the bottom end of the center rear panel.
