Thinking of buying a portable DVD player...
I'm sure some of you have them, what do you like about them? Dislike? My budget is $300 max, and I'm really a Toshiba type of guy, but I hear the Polaroids are pretty good as well, they just scare be because they're recent entries in this particular market.
Anyway, any info would be helpful

I personally dislike them; think they are a waste of money. We bought a Dell laptop that plays DVDs, the screen is 14", and it was around $1200 2 or 3 years ago. These days you could find a used laptop such as mine for $300 easy. Downside is, the battery life on them is a little shorter than a portable DVD player.
I bought a Panasonic for around $175 at Best Buy, and gave it as a Xmas gift.
For the money, it has a decent screen size (7 or 7.5 in) and great picture quality. It's also extremely small and lightweight. The person I bought it for absolutely loves it.
Now I'm going to buy one for myself, so I can plug it into the Sony M9905X HU in my S2K.

I was looking at a Toshiba at Best Buy, I've come to trust the Toshiba name over many others as of late, but there are so many choices. I think the Polaroid is the best bang-for-the-buck. We'll see.
