Default DVD Player hookups?

Anyone have a suggestion where I can buy a DVD player? I'm willing to haggle/pay cash. I'm specifically looking for the Panasonic RP-82 model, retailing for $399.99 at the Future Shop. Mucho Gracias.

Dude, that's way too much. Hell, you ought to consider buying a generic DVD player which will play all regions. They're going for $56 and will play everything! Heck if you want, I can ship you one...

That is $400 Cnd, not US. US is about $230 I believe. I don't care about "play" everything, I want a good picture and DVD-A compatiblity. This Panasonic is the cheapest one that uses a Faruji (sp?) Mpeg decoder that does not have the "chroma" bug.

I have a PO Box in Buffalo. PM me!
The Panasonic RP-62/82 line is the only one out of the "lower" line models to have the Faroudja chip in it. I don't want to spend a ton of money on a Denon or an Arcam.. Below is a good link provided by Matrix.. It's a little outdated but still useful reading about DVD players.
