Thumbs up For those that use PAC SWI instead of DCI

I've heards that the PAC has less features then DCI. Which is fine with me because I only want to change the radio channel and mute.
Is it true that there is a delay when you press the button when you used the PAC. Is that true? Or it work just as fast as stock button ? Are you happy with your PAC ?

I had the opportunity to test both the PAC wired for Alpine and the Modifry wired DCI for Alpine. The Modifry was immediate, instant spring to mind. The PAC has a perceptible pause.

This was with the wired connection. My understanding is that the differences are even more apparent with the IR emitter between the PAC and the Modifry.

If you can afford the difference, get the Modifry. It is superbly engineered.

You wont get much of a comparison here, since most of us (90%) have a DCi. Its instant, cake to install...fantastic product.

One of the member here offered to help me with the install of the DCI so I think I will go with the DCI. Thanks for all the comments.
