you don't have to touch the soft top to get everything out. matter of fact all the plastic has to come out before hand if you wanted to remove the top. The gold 14mm bolts are the ones for the roll hoops, 8 in each.

Sorry about not posting that manual diagram yet.....midterms this week. I think you need to remove the center console to get the hoops out (the vertical / secret compartment portion), as the hoops trim is under it. I think you also mich have to release a trim screw or two from under the rear deck. I would remove the rear deck, as that also definitely needs to come out as well (roll hoop trims are under those connections as well).

If I do not get that up in the next few days, it will DEFINITELY be up this weekened.
