where can i get a tool space sub enclosure for a 12"? i found one guy on here, but hes not selling atm. also ive seen the ones on ebay and was wondering if anyone has any feedback on those? do they still rattle? durable? etc. let me know plz i need to pick one up asap! thanks
YO, seriously, guys...unless you're running a very small 12", that enclosure off Ebay (the MDF one) has approx .70 cu ft interior space. That's INCREDIBLY small for a 12". Let me put it in perspective. I have a 12" that was designed from the ground up - every single aspect - for a small, sealed enclosure. It requires 1.09 cu ft before subwoofer displacement.
So unless you're planning on running a 12" that requires less than probably 300W (and never going to push more), you'll need a larger enclosure (hence the fiberglass enclosures).
It's not just as simple as finding a box that fits into the car that you can mount your woofer in. It's about finding the right size enclosure.
