WLAURENT isn't making enclosures till Jan. And there's prob going to be a bit of a waiting list.

You could run the SI Mag in your .92 cu ft enclosure with a lot of cotton batting, but the sound won't be as good as from the 1cu ft.

The Type R isn't going to run 1000W. Period. Well, maybe for a few seconds/minutes till it gives up it's ghost. But not for any extended period of time. Sorry to be the one to inform you of this

The amp you have will only put out 500W if the sub is configured properly, so it's a good match in that way. But you'd still be putting out only 500W. And I guarantee that it won't sound anywhere NEAR as good as an SI Mag at 500W.

Ghost as in...die...

And trust me, the Type R does not compare to the SI Mag.

I've run a lot of subs, a lot of subs that were loud, and a lot of subs that are known for their sound quality. None of them compare to the Mag for SQ. Period.

www.stereointegrity.com

Only site you can order them on.

Check out the forums, lots of good info on subwoofers and audio in general.

[QUOTE=Neutered Sputniks,Dec 15 2008, 01:28 PM] Sure, if you're looking at running less than 300W to the 12.
