Trunk rattling from sub, how to suppress the rattling?

Default Trunk rattling from sub, how to suppress the rattling?

I put a 12" alpine SWR 1241 in, and when i turn up the music the trunk starts to rattle, how can i make it so that it doesnt rattle??

Actually, there are some really good noise/vibe dampening products available from this company that are much cheaper. I recommend them all the time.

Do a search on Adhesive-Back Damping Sheets. I used the Viscoelastic and Polymeric with good results. The Visco and lighter weight.

It's difficult, but it can be done! Try these steps carefully....

Step 1) Grasp volume knob between thumb and forefinger

Step 2) Rotate knob in counter-clockwise direction

Tip: Some models require simply pressing and holding a button marked with a "-", consult your manual for specific details.

Probably the rear plastic in the bin where the top rests. Cut some small holes or remove it so the air from the trunk can vent, and most of it will go away.
